We needed to raise $38,000 to print a minimum run of 1,000 books – 256 pages, 9"w x 9"h full-colour book printed at Hemlock Printing on the highest quality, fully sustainable paper. We created the publication as a piece of art in itself.

We used a local Vancouver crowdfunding platform called Fundrazr (functions the same as Kickstarter or Indiegogo). A total of 462 contributors raised $39,053 by October 15, 2014. The book was printed and launched the following month.

WeMakeStuff Volume 02, the second book in the groundbreaking series, introduces us to a new group of 100 Vancouver and BC based artists and innovators. Through the lens of different creative initiatives, this stunning coffee-table book showcases the amazing work and thoughts of this amazing talent.
